Sanke d and jockey box questions

I took apart my sanke D keg coupler to clean it. For the beer line there is a hex nut a gasket and a nipple attachment. Where does the rubber gasket go? Also if the keg is 40F 50f or 60f what co2 should I be serving at?

Is this a sankey D keg coupler. I have two and they look different that metal piece on the bottom doesn’t stick out on the other one. If this one is broken is there a fix?

    Anyone used Yellow Sub hops?

Got some yellow sub hop pellets, and used a bunch in dry hop. They are described as fruity but upon opening the bag I was getting more of a Saaz spicey aroma. I added them anyway thinking maybe the fruity ness was a little more subtle. The beer came out with a more intense skunky saaz kind of...

Anyone have a good Ginger beer recipe

Sorry not a lot of internet. This is what I ended up doing. .75 lbs per gallon of sugar. I did 1.5 lbs of ginger for a 5 gallon batch. Added champagne yeast letting it sit for about two weeks.

Win a Ss Brewtech Keg WaSsher!

The winners are contacted by email and given 24 hours to respond. So it would take at least a day maybe more if people don’t respond. The winners already know who they are. We are very lucky that we have so many opportunities to win free stuff and should be thankful for that. Just saying.

    new to me

So there is nothing to attach this to in my fermentor. Should I just soak it in Sani add hops and toss it in my fermentor for my dry hop?

Can I at least reuse the yeast?

So I was trying to use the second runnings from a big beer. The second running gravity came out at 1.022 at 20C. I wasn't really paying attention until I was cleaning up and had already pitched my yeast. 1. If this ferments down wont this only be a 3% beer so probably not worth drinking? 2. Is...

    New to the March Pump

So basically once liquid stops coming out of my out hose, turn off the pump? I won't blow the pump up if its only running for like twenty seconds with no liquid. There seems to be a small difference when liquid is getting sucked through the in and that stops and when the liquid going into my...

In a jam will this old yeast work

Just finished a batch and went to look at my starter and nothing happened. It doesnt look very different from when I left it on the stir plate 24 hours ago. I have two packages of expired dry US-05, like a year and 5 months expired should I add both of those and my starter and see if anything...

    New to the March Pump

Hi, So I just got a MArch pump and am trying to use it in my brew set up. Is it possible have the pump run dry just for a little bit as i runs the last of my wort out of the kettle and through the chiller. If I try to stop the pump before it gets dry I will probably lose a beer or two in my lines.
