    Automating Brewery Cleaning

Good Morning All. I'm thinking about a possible small brewery build say 3 US gallons max. I have an outline concept a simple 2 vessel system and once the grain has been removed I would like to have it run some sort of self cleaning/automated cleaning function. I probably can manage the...

10-15litre brewery links wanted.... Please Help

Afternoon All. Diy builds seem to have fallen rather out of fashion especially for smaller batches I suppose it's the impact of the cheap GF clones. However I would like to build and automate a small 10-15litre brewery, for the most part I'm the only one drinking my brews but I don't drink a...

    Smaller Batch Brewing? CraftBeer Pi

Smaller Batch Brewing with CraftBeer Pi. Increasingly I get the urge to brew small batches of 10-15 litres just to increase the variety of beers I have available. However time and effort bite into my little plan, whatever I do has to a large extent be "set and forget" which is were CbPi comes...

    Brew Easy?

It's been out for some time now, how is it stacking up against the other "systems" like the BM and GrainFather? ATB. Aamcle

    FVM build maybe...

I had a 40litre recirculation biab built into a manual water boiler unfortunately I'd built the pump into the base and I had ongoing leaks. That went and I bought a Grainfather it's very functional but less satisfying than my own builds. What I'd like to automat from mash through to cooling...

    Automation software CbPi vs BrewControl

Is CbPi still supported? The FB group is very very slow and I think I read, I don't know where, that the person who developed it has withdrawn. In any event I have not found the user docs, not installation but setting up and use, and the plugins please would you post a link. I'm not sure...

    FVM build maybe...

I'm considering another build, I'm using a GF now but previously had a recirculating BIAB system until it leaked once too often. What I'm interested in is a full volume system were the mash is not in the boiler (like a BrewEasy or Counter top Brutus 20) as this would enable me to automate the...

    Recirculation Methods

I used the hose on a system I built and it's used in the GF, both the other options you mention are good but offer no real advantage whilst being harder to clean. Atb. Aamcle

    Help repurpose some grain

I had been going to brew an Imperial Baltic Porter on Friday 15Jan so on Thursday I mixed the grain (just over 11kg in all), tasted the supernatent over the Diamond yeast I'd save and decided it was good to go. Fortunately I wasn't able to brew but I did try the beer I harvested the yeast from...

    Automation for 10-12 litres?

I still have a programmable PID from a build a few years ago, I'd certainly want to use electricity I'm in the UK so the is no good reason to mess with gas. The HIM/Scada project is interesting. aamcle

Automate your electric brewery - 4 Testers needed for open source project

I'm interested but need to finish my 3d printer before I take anything else on. I was production lead on a HMI/SCADA system many years ago so I had a look at OpenScada and Igss. They are wonderful systems but as far as I could tell the components would be very expensive, even a serial board...

    Automation Software ?

The obvious concern is that you may build a brewery, all stainless shinyness, valves and pumps and it die.

    Automation Software ?

Thanks again :) Node Red looks like hard work, the last coding I did was using Borland Turbo Pascal back in the days when a home computer as an Atari ST or a Spectrum.

    Automation Software ?

I believe CraftBeerPi is no longer supported/in development which is rather a shame as I had hopped to use it. What is now available properly supported and open-source? My budget doesn't run to the fancy commercial stuff.? Thanks. Aamcle
