    no foam break

    The last time I brewed and today, my foam never ready broke, even with very heavy boil under foam. Any ideas? nothing really changed in how I brew. Same equip, same crusher.

    It is a pilsener, coming in around 5%. Fermented out well. did a d rest @ 2 weeks to 67* also. og 1044. final is 1011.

    Thanks. There is a lot of yeast still showing, so I will just prime, bottle and store at 67*.

    Brewed a Pilsener 6 weeks ago. Kept @ 40* for 2 weeks. brought up to 67* for 2 days. dropped it back to 38* for 4 weeks. So to bottle... Do I bring it up to room temp to bottle? Do I drop it back to38* to bottle condition? How long will that take? or Bottle at room temp and store at...

    Lager yeast starter size

    I am making my first lager on St. Pats day. A pilsner. If I am making 10 gallons, how big of a starter should I make? I have a 2 liter flask. How much DME should I put in? Using WL Pilsner yeast. Thanks.

    bottle bucket (food grade) to hold wort?

    If I am juggling pots, can I use a food grade bucket to hold my wort as it comes out of the mash?

    priming sugar in Imperial IPA

    I have an Imp IPA at 10% and am bottling. How much priming sugar. It is in a secondary now, so not a ton of yeast. ???

    cleaning blow tubes

    My blow tubes seem to have a coating inside after I cleaned them. They seem 98% clean. If I soak them in star-san for a while, should they be ok? I am afraid of foam flowing back into my carboy at some point in bringing something from the tube residue back into the carboy? should I worry?

    Best table for potential gravity?

    There are seveal tables out there with differnet # for potential OG by grain type. Is 1 more reliable?

    Bottled for Purim

    A day at the Rabbi's house. We bottled an Anchor Steam clone - calling it Groggerlager. Cool Rabbi.:mug:
