    Putting radius on a ferrule

    Have a 2" ferrule I want to put a radius on so I can silver solder it to a boiler.. Only need to take off about 1/4"... Use Something like 100 grit ??

    I'm thinking now of going the electric brewery route, with a box enclosure, but wondering how you attach a ferrule to these things ? I've seen pictures online but can't get a really good idea how to fasten a 1.5" or 2" ferrule to it, with a 1" element threaded inside.... Any thread links would...

    Tanks were from a local winery, but from talking to people in the wine industry, they have cheap tanks everywhere. Find a winery and call them up, they are always selling off old stuff.

    I wouldn't call yourself cheap... Let's say frugal ?? Call up any winery on the planet and they usually are selling off their equipment for larger stuff. I just missed out on 10- 80gal.     Hi Guys, Been wondering why people are spending $500 and up on small brew kettles and stock pots for electric brewing when you can get massive, used, stainless steel wine fermenting tanks for a fraction of the price?? any reason not to use them for just HLT & MASH ??

    looks good ! if you want to test it with your meter, put your meter on A/C, put the black - probe on the green ground coming into the SSR, put your + red probe on the -2 output of the SSR. Plug it in and crank your potentiometer up. should say 120v or 220v depending on what you are set up for...
