    WLP037 Yorkshire Square odd clumping

    I stepped up the starter tonight bringing it to two liters. The yeast very quickly broke apart and went back into solution to attack the new sugars. It will be interesting to see if it clumps back up the same way again.

    I have a starter on a stir plate going of WLP037 and it is clumping together in the most odd way. Odd to me anyway as I have never seen yeast clump together like this before. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

    Best SMaSH recipe you've made???

    I recently brewed an all UK sessionable SMaSH that turned out very nicely. 10lbs Maris Otter 4 oz of EKG (1oz-FW, 1oz-15min, 1oz-10min, 1oz-FO) London Ale Yeast #1028 Mash 60 min @ 152F, Boil 60 min. Very easy beer to brew which was nice too.
