    Yeah I forgot about mine too, It's hard for me to say because I have never drank anything like this before, it finished out at 1.000 and I didn't add any sweetener. It had a nice crisp dry taste but it is also very sour.

    Quick question...just bottled my first batch yesterday, Same recipe as Ed worts, it's been sitting in glass carbon since last January, it is super sour, is this how it is supposed to taste? I like the taste I just want to make sure that is the norm... Thanks in advance!

    First fruit beer

    I'm planing on making half of my cream of 3 crop ale into a strawberry cream ale, I read on another thread to add the fruit a week after you brew and then rack it off a week later, would adding it late and leaving it in longer than a week make a difference?

    I'm gonna try this soon with 5.5 lb belgian pale malt 1.5 pound flaked corn 1 pound rice And add one pound sugar to dry it out I read that BM did this to a few of his to crisp it up, I also want to rack half of it on to 3.5 pounds of strawberries, what do you Guys think?

    Search orchard breezin' wine kits, there pretty cheap, about $60 And produce good wine IMO. They take 28 days to go from box to bottle(I usually age a few more weeks just cause I have so much wine on the rack right now) and your supposed to wait 2 weeks after bottling go drink but I've drank...

    Hey guys I'm doing my first stout tomorrow, it's my fourth beer. The question is that I have a packet of safale yeast, should I use that or should I buy a white labs or wyeast packet? I've never used a liquid yeast and don't know the difference really. I just want this to turn out good

    Mashtun question

    I'd like to make a simple cooler mash tun. My question is do I have to use a brand-new cooler or can I use one of the many coolers I have around the house? The one I Would like to use is not horribly dirty on the inside but it also is not completely clean. If I clean it very good can it be used?
