    Thanks.....I am changing a few things around and was just kind of wondering.......I did play with about 10 gallons of water.....for the most part to just clean things. got it right at boil but seemed like it stalled out ...or I just got tired of waiting on water.....lol.... Jack

    Ok so I haven't brewed in a few years.....trying to get back into it. I brew 10 gallon batches. Just wondering how long it takes to get it to a boil.....I am guessing 13 gallons with outside temps at around 50-70 f. Thanks jack

    Plums

    Hey all.....I have made a few mead's before but it has been quite awhile. Anyway I am a Bee Keeper so I have Honey. I also have a plum tree that never gets eaten. I would like to make a Mead from them. Anyone have a recipe for a plum mead ? I am looking for something simple. Thanks Jack

    So was cleaning up the other day and ran across a corny keg full of mead I brewed about 8 years ago (That is what the tag says). You think it is still good ? It has been in the garage and maybe a max temp of 85. I will open it up soon, was just wondering what everyone thought. Jack

    I just put a 2000w element in a coleman 52 qt. I put an electical box at the end with a light switch. So far so good. Jack
