That's the thing I didn't actually want the flavour or bitterness of taste...just the aroma. 24hours was enough without affecting taste.

Opened my first bottle lastnight. Was a one gallon batch, so only left the hop bag in for about 24hours. It was awesome! Had a slight bitterness but all the aroma which is what I was aiming for. Thanks for all the advice guys!

Well my worries about bottle bombs have some what subsided . I've opened a couple bottles after about 2 1\2 weeks and the carbonation is great! Could be a bit more but hopefully another week or so will help that. Half a teaspoon might not be enough. Then again it might be fine,just have to wait...

Hey I've been having different readings with my hydro so someone suggested to drop it into some water and see if it was faulty. This is a pic I took in slightly colder then room temp tap water. Is it reading correctly? Thanks everyone!
