i havn't brewed with summit before, but W '07 boasts, "Brewed with Summit hops" Tastes like grapefruit! if i were to make this recepie i would substitute grains for the extract, but it is the first recepie that jumps out and says HEY!!! YOU MUST BREW THIS!!!! I would use a very high attinuating yeast though. This looks more like an Imperial IPA than a barleywine. Rogue pacman comes to mind.....

When I made this, I racked it onto a yeast cake of White Labs WLP023 Burton Ale. I got it from 1.089 to 1.022, a little more than 75% attenuation. I'm thinking about trying a different yeast next time though.

Yes, I used it in my other IPA as well. It's perfect for that stuff, and it definitely has more a tangerine/orange citrus flavor rather than grapefruit.
