I initially titled the thread as it was given in the book, as it wasn't known as an IPA, but an October beer. Seeing how this isn't common knowledge it hasn't seemed to garnish much attention.
It's quite interesting, and is inspiring me to delve further and attempt a traditional IPA, though I'll be happy with the revised recipe when it became known as the "pale ale for India" that I see for either the Allsop or Bass
