That doesn't look too bad compared to an airlock failure. I have had to clean walls/ceilings twice (I can be a slow learner)
 
Yeah, the carboy cap doesn't fit as tight on the better bottles as it does my glass carboy. So the pressure couldn't have gotten too out of control. (If it had, I would have expected the other pails there to catch some spray.) Could have been more of a mess. I'm not too concerned, that's why my laundry room has a drain in the middle of the floor, right? I just want the smell to dissipate before my girlfriend stops over later. :)
