Does this look normal for a year starter? It started in 68 degree temp for 18 hrs and I shook it often, then I put it in the fridge. Been in fridge for about 10 hrs now. How long will it stay good in fridge if it does look ok? And when I'm ready to pitch do I pitch everything in Jar or just the yeast at bottom? Thanks for help!

Other then defying the lawns of gravity, it looks fine but needs more chill time. You've got a nice cake of yeast but the cloudy part is still full of yeast. Another day and it will drop and clear nicely. Then decant when ready to pitch.

The starter should be good for about a week in the fridge. Be sure to seal up that foil though so nothing nasty gets in
