I have a batch of Yeastbays Vermont Ale strain on the way. Planning to use it in BYO's double sunshine recipe. Given the cost of this yeast, I wanted to save some from a starter and maybe use it in other styles. Anyone ever tried this in non IPA or APA styles? Curious what it would do in a more malt forward style wort.

I say, give it a try and let us know. I love using yeast for unintended purposes like Kolsch yeast on a pale ale or San Fran lager on an IPA. I'm looking forward to tying this Conan strain.
