Has anyone tried Wood Chuck Fall Hard Cider
from Vermont?
Looking for a clone recipe.

I have tried it, my wife likes it. I can't help you with a recipe but it's definitely spiced with some kind of back sweetening. If I were to try to clone it I would start with "fall" type spices, like what you would use for a pumpkin beer....cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ect. The ciders I make are dry so I have no experience sweetening ciders. I know it's easier to do when you keg the cider because you can kill the yeast, but with bottling I think you'd have to use an artificial sweetener. My two cents anyway. cheers.

To sweeten it,you just have to let it build enough pressure, then pasteurize it.

And I have tried it,good stuff. No idea about the recipe though.

I just love the bottles.
