I pushed my BIAB system to the limit with a Hopslam clone using 8 gallons water and 20.5 pounds of grain in a 10 gallon kettle. This was one of the best beers I've made to date but it's definitely the maximum for my rig.

I definitely did the calculations twice to make sure it was going to fit. We were brewing at one of the club member's houses, his driveway was on a slight incline, and the downward side was full to the top of the kettle. You can see it, and the grain on the inside of the lid, in the picture (downhill to my right).

The RIS will not really be ready for drinking for a few more months, as it is over 11% and will need some aging. We hope to get it into a bourbon barrel over the next week.
