I am going to be doing an all electice system and dont really know much about PIDs and SSRs so I want to ask the experts. Where can I go online to get a good price and order these?

I am going to be doing a 120 volt HLT and a 240 volt Boil Kettle. I want to use a PID and SSR to run each.

I think that should work right?

+1. I strongly recommend using the 40A on each of those SSR's. This allows you a "hot spare" in case one of those craps out.

Also, if your are doing 240 on the kettle, I would do the same on the HLT. MUCH faster heat times, and again, redundancy.

Other than about $10 more on the SSR, and $10 more on the wiring, you should be set.

Many of us bought our stuff at Auber Inst., they have good prices and good service. I have heard a few complaints about the quality of thier PIDs... but have had no issues with mine.
