I don't know much about stirplates, but I am wondering on what grounds someone decides what the speed of the stirring should be for growing the most viable and dense yeast starters?
Also, what is the period of time one should stir the flask on a stirplate? Constantly or every 5 hours, and for how long?
I have no clue what speed to put and for how long if I would have to make a yeast starter...
