What music service are y'all using to download MP3s for MP3 players? Non Apple. Not a smartphone.

For legal downloads I like Amazon. Seems like last time I use it you could pay once and own the MP3 and put it on other devices.

I generally just use Spotify, Pandora, etc. streaming to my smartphone. And sometimes I DL using other means if I want a CD in the car or something.

I love BandCamp, you can buy digital albums and download in mp3 or several lossless formats (FLAC, M4A, AIFF, WAV...) with unlimited streaming and even if you buy physical copies you still get access the same digital downloads/streaming. And by the way, iTunes will play M4A (Apple lossless) files if anyone's interested.

David Gilmour on Spotify. Checking out his early solo stuff and we'll see where it goes. So far, the first song on his self-named album is pretty interesting. Nothing too unusual, but interesting nonetheless.

His first solo album is my favorite of all his solo work. Once you've heard the song "There's no Way Out of Here" a few times do a youtube search on that same song but done by Unicorn. That's the original.

EAC and LameXP, because I'm old school and still buy albums. For streaming, however, Amazon Music is the best, IMNSHO, though Pandora sometimes gets love if I just need background music.

Currently listening to "Starboy + Survive", which I found quite by accident on YouTube the other day. Apparently, I'm not bright enough to actually link the video in a reply...

I seem to be on a bit of a pseudo-retro kick this morning.

I've been reading Springsteen's autobiography and, after a couple references like "the rest of the songs we recorded that year wound up as Disc 2 of Tracks," I pulled out my copy of Tracks and loaded up the car CD changer. Awesome stuff.
