Lately I've been listening to a duo out of Northern Michigan. They are the Pistil Whips, and it's one guy playing sax (mostly) and another guy singing, playing guitar, and foot drums.
They got a cool vibe, interesting lyrics, and just catchy grooves. The studio work has really good sound quality and the live stuff is amazing as well, even without the layers they get in the studio.
