As a Fins fan, I very much enjoyed that game. I drank water because typically drinking away Dolphins games that early in the day leads to painful Monday mornings

Came for the svetle pivo, stayed for the gose. I found the Benedict 12 (by Brevnov monastery brewery) was unpalatably sweet, so I ordered the watermelon gose (by Antos Slanee) and I'll be damned if that wasn't the greatest delight so far on this most absurd quest I have so foolishly embarked upon.

Getting ready for the crab feast, this a good start.
Great beer! Hit the top of the bottle when reaching to pour but managed to catch it with minimal sloshage. FYI, KBS tastes pretty good through a straw!
HB blueberry ginger booch. I was too lazy to get a clean glass, but at least I can see I finally had good timing for carbonation.
I like beer flavored beer and I don’t usually go for pumpkin beers, but rum barrel aged with vanilla beans and spice sounded good. Not as much barrel character as I would like but its definitely better than the average pumpkin beer. I have another one thats bourbon barrel aged to try next time.

My mothers sisters who are into geneaology claim they traced our family lineage back to Prague. I’ve been to a bunch of places around the globe with the US Navy but never got to Prague. Maybe someday.

Update: kegerator is fine. The condensate drain tank above the compressor was full of water from the defrosting chill plate, and evidently it contains a float switch that disables the compressor when full.

Headed home tomorrow - last day with the parents

Had to pull 16 hour days sat and Sun, so this was the first beer (HB Flanders Red) of the weekend on Monday afternoon after a normal workday. In my exhaustion, I spilled half of it. I hate Mondays.
HB wcipa with Wally. He was late this morning.
HM 13% BOMM now almost 2 years old. My wife tasted and said she likes it. She has tasted many commercial and HM meads and never had one she liked, so I'm wondering if I did something wrong.
Lunch beer, Homebrew Vienna Lager and chicken tacos.

Again, I’m not really a pumpkin spice guy. She wasn’t even one of the Spice Girls. They hooked me with “aged in boubon barrels.” 10%. This will do. Best pumpkin beer I had yet. Sharing with the mrs. It’s the Great’er Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

At the Montreal Airport (YUL) Fairfield Inn having a local LeCaster Brewing Company IPA. Hopped with Yakima Hops several times during process including a dry hop. Decent IPA not too hoppy though.

Morning beer w the tiger
BJ Oktoberfest. Spicy. Not half bad.
HB IPA. Citra and Strata. Hazy but quite bitter. Shall we split the difference and call it a Midwest IPA?
Delayed celebratory drink. Got up early because it was suppose to be a nice day and a long day of meetings with a break in the noontime.
Jumped out and played 15 holes in 2hrs for "lunch". Played bad except for the last hole. Drew my drive into the tree just above the flagstick.
Chipped out to 170yds out.Waiting for old fogies to leave the green. Forever. Give them the old loud cough to finally clear them. Breezy right to left wind into my face, downhill, over clubbed and finesed a baby fade to one hop and jarred it into the hole. Pretty sure one of the geezers saw it but no reaction. Eagle.
