I like your labels! Started doing ours about 4 batches ago. We like coming up with crazy names for them: our triple IPA = Tricerahops, our Milk Stout = Udder Bull$#!+, and our Kentucky Breakfast Stout = The Breakfast Club (what else!) Bust and Balls BrewingView attachment 676716

Nothing overly fancy. Just Avery name tag labels and a quick tutorial on GIMP. Thank you.

Arghh. Sorry man, hope it all turns around for you and 22million others.

Come and Take It

Thanks, I think in order to actually lose my job or get laid off without benefits, the entire plant would need to be shut down. Definitely people out there in far worse shape than me, but this is the start of my sixth week. My guess is that I get called back in next week, but from there it'll be week on/week off, or two on/one off.

Locals and SWMBO sours!!!

Wort for a non-alcoholic beer I'm working on. I have always adjusted the gravity to keep the ABV really low; however, in doing so I've been restricted to only a few styles of beer. I'm going the evap route this time around, so we'll see...

If it doesn’t already exist, I’d love to see a thread chronicling your low abv and NA adventures. This little corner of the brewing world is something I am very interested in.

though these things.

Dang ya Covid. It’s official. Had to cancel our wedding we’ve been planning for 3 years and cancel our honeymoon to Dublin, Paris and Rome. So beer and 2017 nfl draft replay on espn2.

Bummer that your plans got jacked up by Covid. But, take it from someone who’s been married for almost 50 years-being married is a lot bigger deal than getting married. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to get married. You have the rest of your lives to be married. Best of luck to you.

I hear yah as far as plans go. No trip to France, Colombia, LA mountain 'retreat', Puerto Rico, or Hawaii this year. We lost the cost of flying to France, and we're carrying partial credits with some South American airline?

Those two trips were cancelled in March when everything flared up, but France wasn't locked down yet for that trip... neither were we. Colombia was a week afterwards. So, they deemed that too soon, too, but we have our flight costs as credits -$600.

Funny thing, ha ha, three or four days after my intended flight to France, the US halted all European incoming flights. So, could've been worse considering what's happened since then.

...now, I wouldn't mind having been stuck in Colombia. That I could live with for a few months.

After nearly 10yrs, I'd agree.

That bites. Many people are still getting married then having the reception and honeymoon trip later. Big life events are best celebrated. Virus or not you and your spouse to be are still in love.
