The Specs in Corpus Christi has the same prob. "Beer specialist" is an idiot. (Last I was there anyway). And how the hell does that logic work? Your only getting paid x amount so that means you dont have to do your job properly???
Yeah but it's kind of tough to fault someone when they're being paid $8-12/hr and can't even afford to drink the beer they're selling. Not to mention the thousands of craft beer labels showing up. I haven't heard of a lot of them and I'm on top of this sh**!
That's my rational side; they annoy the hell out of me too :cross:

Ebner Brewing Company. Our website, ebnerbrewing.com is up and getting finished but you can poke around if you are bored. We would be glad to have you! Let me know before you come in if we are open when you come out and I will make sure you get a full tour and some "samples"

Then there is Total Wine which I do not really expect anything from. I've seen some employees really hand out a bunch of info on wine, but the beer falls to the wayside it seems. Most I ask is if they have something and if not, where I can get it (another total wine) or when. I rarely, if ever, ask questions. The last time I did the guy told me he doesn't drink at all and can't really help me. And no, I don't think you need to drink to work at Total Wine.
Having quickly perused your site, I have a quick question. I see you like the majority of breweries (but surprisingly, not all) ask for the birthdate (or a simple are you older than 21 question.) Is that mandated by state/federal law, your insurance company or is it just something you felt you ought to do? Kudos to you for at least writing that to a cookie so I don't get asked every time I go to the site
Whole foods near me has some good prices. $6 64oz growler fills cant be beat
Damn you Remmy...got me thinking about going out tonight for some Draft beers at the only place nearby that has anything worth going for. I need (another) part time job.
I do find it crazy though that black ops is 45$ but eclipse is only 28$ a bottle which is shelf price! All these tap lists make one of my local spots look bad bwaahahaha check it out though! http://www.farmhousetg.com/FARMHOUSE_BeerList_Web.pdf
Currently at the gym trying to sweat out this cold.
A sample of my belgian brown. Never had this type of beer before but it has the taste of a belgian that I expected but the nuttiness of a brown. It's good.
I am kicking myself for forgetting irish moss though. It's cloudy as ****.
Not sure the smell I get though is right. Giving it 3 weeks in primary to see what happens. If it looks like it's going to clear more, I'll let it sit there for a bit.
Edit: I googled and I'm a jackass, I've totally had a belgian brown beer before, numerous times. Clearly I never paid enough attention.

Having coffee while shopping for brewhouses... We decided a 3bbl brewery with 6bbl fermenters and brites isn't gonna cut it. Found a deal on a complete, turnkey 7bbl brewhouse with a bunch of15bbl fermenters and brites and even a couple 40bbl fermenters that would put us under budget. We go for funding today so fingers crossed!!
The only beer ive forgotten to use Irish moss was thankfully my pumpkin buffalo sweat clone
I'm sure you can tell the difference with a beer that dark. :rockin:
What yeast did you use?
Safbrew T-58 Ale Yeast
Slow day at the office. Why not.
Cluster pale ale.
Huh? Why?
Having a HB coffee brown before the bottle shop
Couldn't resist the urge. Got home from the office and dinner wasn't ready. So, you know. I got that "I need a beer right now" feeling. And that was that.
Having a FBS after a rough day
Buffalo sweat clone, kinda cloudy! Forgot the Irish moss
Regret only grabbing one of these. I will try to pace myself to savor it at least!
