It's dinner time in France, we ate vegetarian tonight, but only because my wife's vegetable soup and the plate of white asparagus was enough to fill us up. But I did open a bottle I picked up at a Bordeaux wine fest last month, perfect for our cheese plate.

Buddy who got me into home brewing all those years ago was getting rid of his stuff. Bunch of freebies. Working keggorater, 3 filled CO2 bottles and several kegs/fittings. Sure, love free stuff!

This beer taste a lot like, well, beer. 😔

On another note, I wonder how bad the advertisements are for the non-supporters?

Leaving early tomorrow for a road trip out east. Will spend almost a week at an AirBnB in the NY Finger Lakes region. Neither of us have been to the area before, and it sounded interesting. Want to check out a few wineries, breweries, and do some hiking. Not necessarily in that order.

Not too far from where I spent most of my life. Pretty area. Enjoy!!
** Updates and pics would be greatly appreciated.

Hot as heck today. Maybe 83F. Me no likey. Had the JV tennis team from the school over and grilled 175,392 # of Lemon Garlicious marinated chicken and homemade Caesar dressing on 498# of chopped Romaine lettuce. The only thing that eats more than teenage boys is teenage girls. No leftovers. Sigh.

An American Amber using Kveik yeast. The grain bill could be a British Bitter but the Kveik gives it a totally different taste.
