Vicinity last night thanks to @TheDudeLebowski Always a stellar beer.
Layover at JFK & found the Blue Point restaurant. First their hazy IPA called Spectral Haze then their Pinstripe Pils.
Now off to Austin. @ThirstyPawsHB if it wasn’t such a chaotic work trip I would have reached out to meet for beers, but unfortunately I don’t have anytime for that. 😭

Warsteiner, since 1753, makes one terrific Pilsner, or Pilsener as they stylize it. Based out of Warstein, Germany, this 4.8% ABV Pils has it all – including one extra ingredient! Brewed according to the 1516 Reinheitsgebot, German Beer Purity law, I thought that meant Water, Malt, Hops and later acknowledged, Yeast. This one has one extra – Hop Extract! Now I’m really confused. Verwirrt!

Really a delicious Pilsner, you will enjoy this. You can probably anticipate what’s coming next though – WHAT’S WITH THESE DINKY CANS? 3 wouldn’t fill my Krug. 4 is too much. What are we a bunch of babies? Or are these for chasing Jägermeister shots? I’m still shaking my head. At least they are in UV blocking cans, 2 points there. Prost!

Enjoy the time you're here. Pinthouse Pizza is obviously a must even if just for lunch.
