Campanology Brewing barrel aged stout. A Trader Joe's beer. Malty, chocolate, vanilla. Let it warm a little and you get more oak and bourbon. Very tasty at 11% for about $7. Two are enough!
Technically a melomel. I was much younger then.

Happy Thanksgiving! Back home after visiting family and ready to watch some football.
Whoa! I'm old. That thing was bottled 1 year before I bought a house one town over. Good news is there a couple of meaderies still around and winning medals. I think it's called HoneyBound I just visited. They have a black Friday sale going on but I think they do the other liq apps. The Red Bamboo is really good.
OT: one of many Treehouses to self medicate watching Pats game. Curiousity 127
Since it's November, guess I'll call this a Marzan, HB of course.

I hope that we get enough honey next year to make some mead (it's our first year with the bees), and I'll suffer through picking huckleberries in the woods again. It's very time consuming.

This was supposed to be the pregame for England-USA World Cup, but after four pages to go through, I'm late. Happy belated Thanksgiving all!
Out and about for them today but had make a pit stop of course. TG colab, pretty good.My go to store had them out yesterday
30 minutes in my glass somehow emptied itself. Old-school rabbit ears. The aluminum foil means my kids don't have to stand there and hold the antennae; one of those character-building experiences if you ask me.
75 minutes in and substitutions. Time to refill the glass.

Having fun visiting sister in laws on my pleasant. Charles towne fermentory still one of my favs but I do think their processes changed with IPAs, those are just “fine” all with similar slight hop bite these days. Used to not be that way though. Thinking dry hopping processes changed over the years. Neverltheless these two beers are still my favs from them: dark Czech lager and an altbier. Also BA churned 2022 was awesome and I was surprised because it has coconut but I barely detected it.
Hb lemon lavender saison while making beef stew this afternoon.
These gray/drizzling days are getting old. About 3 weeks straight now. Thank goodness for craft beer! Houston TIPA
