My next hb is gonna be a stout. Haven't done one since my first batch i did with a friend a long long time ago. It was terrible. It was supposed to be an oatmeal stout and it was awful

Sounds good! This was my 1st stout. Somewhat of an oatmeal stout (1lb flaked used for 5 g batch, but was also sort of a kitchen sink recipe...). Starting to come around, not too bad. Kinda wish I would've started with a simpler grain bill for a first attempt, but I'm not unhappy with it.
