Did you guys make anything special for super bowl weekend? I don't care about the game itself necessarily, it's just the one weekend a year all my real friends come up from out of town for heavy drinking and in their case, mountains of wings. Friday afternoon can't come soon enough.

Coffee. Trying to stay cool, attention span is short..

I didnt make anything specifically for the Super Bowl. Ive never thought about it before really haha I typically just make beers that I have been wanting to try or re-brew. I "kinda" plan them around the seasons (stouts before winter, hefe before spring/summer) but dont follow anything too closely.

Fun Fact: my nickname in my Fraternity was Super Bowl. :D
 
Quaffi. I'm obligated to Superbowl at in-laws and nobody else really drinks...kids, old folks, non-drinkers, medical reasons for some. Just not the 20 to 30 something party crowd. I'll take a few brews for myself and be willing to share. Mom in-law may take me up on a cider, but that's about it. The food will be good, though!

I won't be doing anything productive today either, but not by my choice. Just moving from one POS meeting to another. Right now it is a review of our IS operational master plan (affectionately known as 'the OMP' - sounds like a technical term from the porn industry :drunk:)

LOL yea man, that's my afternoon today. I have three meetings, and none of those meetings will be in a bar. After spending yesterdays meeting at Grace Tavern, this will be very upsetting.

Alternatively I think you can post in the app, tap it to get web view and then click edit and save. That way you're not trying to post in web view which is a PITA (especially if you're adding a photo). Does that make it easier @finsfan ?

It is Thursday and I half expect @remmy to be dominating the thread. However, he posted at 6:30 am, I think, and hasn't posted since. Surely breakfast beer morning is over and we've moved onto lunch beers. So what's up with you @remmy?

Well, I technically did and did not. I had hoped that my Amarillo SMaSH using the hops @fermentNEthing sent me to change my mind about those hops, had been done. It could be actually, but I need to pull a sample. It has only been dry hopping since Monday and I would HAVE to keg Friday morning before I leave to have it on hand for Sunday. So in short, who the F knows!

Man, if I didn't have it on good authority that wives do not appreciate me inviting their husbands over to be my drinking buddies during football games then I would invite you. I'd even pay for the cab ride back to your house! I'm smoking pork, hoping it does okay in the weather, and there will be beer. A lot of beer.

Yeah my wife doesn't even give a funk, as long as I come home now and then to cook and say hi. I go out way more than I should but, might as well get it out of my system before it's time to grow up.

Can't stop thinking about beer. Is this bad? Asking the wrong people I assume...

Sorry for double post, but... there was a horrific sound from the next office over. Upon further investigation, I find my bosses chair broke and he roundhouse kicked his computer and everything else off the top of his desk against the wall on his way to the floor.

In tears. Finally something to smile about.

Didn't do anything specifically for the Super Bowl, but as it turns out my Nugget Nectar clone should be carbed up just in time (although it will be a little green.) I did however plan ahead to take Monday off so I don't have to stare at a computer wishing a headache away! :mug:

Oh yeah! Got approved for my Monday off yesterday. The extra day off alone is cause for excitement.

Any chance I can take a peek at that Nugget Nectar clone recipe? I've still got to figure out how to use new system and all but curious since I have a freezer full of nugget.

Good thing your boss isn't Chuck Norris; that roundhouse would of destroyed the whole building and half the block!

the 201 class goes into more detailed linking, but in that class you would learn that one cannot link ones self.
