Pretty solid for a wheat beer. I can't believe every podunk town in wyoming has a brewery except where I live (second largest city in the state).

Having another citrusy strawberry blonde after racking the next batch of strawberry blonde off the berries, cooking dinner for the kids, and starting the mash on a rye pale ale.

Inside the Weber lies a "chicken burger". I would imagine grilling toothpaste would be a similar experience.

Sent from here, because that's where I am.

Ground turkey is the bomb diggity.

I hate poultry products that shouldn't be poultry.

SWMBO has gone pretty much vegetarian the last couple of years. I have found that I like some chicken products that aren't actually chicken. Like Qorn "Chik'N" Nuggets. They taste more like white meat chicken nuggets than McNuggets do...by far!

Damn!! what kind of snake is that?

It's like a banded water snake or something like that. Some boys killed one recently, thinking it was a cottonmouth...similar size and markings, but it's not. But you have to be REALLY close to be sure...shape of head, round pupils instead of slits. I wouldn't, but I could see this guy had his mouth full!

Just had a Stone Enjoy By 7.4.14 on tap and brought home that and some other goodies. The Squeezes will be my lawn mowing beer (pre and post) ImageUploadedByHome Brew1402016063.006572.jpg

Took my boy fishing today for an hour or so. He wasn't the only one that caught a catfish.

Now that is just.... wrong.

That sucks. I always chug a beer or two before scouts... glad I did on Tuesday. Thought I was going on a hike which turned out to be us plucking an invasive plant out of a park.

Boy scouts; normally I just hang in the back and chat with other bored parents or (even worse) work.

Today, decided to drop the boy, come back and do contract work while having a beer before the return trip to pick him up. Tried DrunkleJon's Amber Bock, and now onto a Rye of the Tiger before putting the kids to bed.

This after showing my motorcycle a little love, oil change and such(I would confuse some of you if I said bike,LOL) Not that I wasn't having a couple HBs while taking care of buisiness:rockin:

Awesome, care to share the recipe?

Here ya go. I wound up overshooting my efficiency a bit, so it had to age a bit to get the boozy flavor to mellow out. The roasted wheat was just wheat malt that I toasted in the toaster oven. This was a small 3 gallon batch that I tried before a bigger batch. There's also a thread floating around here with variations of this recipe.

My second to last bottle of Rye Saison. Brewed it almost 10 months ago.

Pretty damn tasty if I say so myself. Going to brew it again on Saturday morning.

Where did you go fishing?

There's a small lake in our neighborhood, right across the street from our house. There's a shallow spillway pond with some catfish in it. In the lake itself are some bass, crappie, maybe brim. Didn't have luck up there today, but I didn't have a small spinner bait. That has been popular in the past. If you want a place to practice your casting, nobody really ever bothers anyone there.

What?! Yes I would! Shoot me an email and lemme know. Is it supposed private pond/lake. I have a crappie jig and something supposedly great for catfish and bass. I have some worms too.

Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Co. Spring Fever Grand Cru. IMHO this is a fairly bland beer that I won't be buying again but at $3.50 for a bomber I won't complain too much. It's just that neither the spice additions, hops, nor the yeast really contributes to much flavor.
