Anyone evey brewed with werther's original?

I am thinking of doing a holiday nut brown, sitting on 30oz of the hard candy in the secondary. Any thoughts?
 
I would be worried about oils and chemical stuff in the candies. You could easily replicate butterscotch flavor through yeast choice and crystal malts. Or you can caramelize some brown sugar in pan with a bit of water, add a touch of vanilla, and reduce it until you get a flavor you like. Add that into the last 10 min of the boil.

A yeast that produces a bit of diacetyl, like wy1187 would be a perfect candidate for a beer like this.
 
Since you already did it, just let is know what happens. If its good, post a recipe and be a superstar
