Ive only used RO water with a calcium chloride added and get around 70% eff.

This last brew i used 50/50 RO and tap that i put the water report into ez water and added some salts and got 80% eff.

Question is does water have that much of an effect on eff or was it some other fluke?

I don't find that water quality has much impact on efficiency. I find that crush quality and the duration of lautering have much more influence on efficiency.
