Hi All. I just ordered a home brewers water test kit from Ward's Labs. I have been using RO water which I assume is a pretty much a "neutral slate" to adjust my chemistry. But I live in a municipal area known to have good water. I almost don't want to drop $42 on the RO water test since the RO water supplier is expensive and if I can adjust my city water easily, this would be a ready source and inexpensive.

I happen to be making a 75 mi one way trip to my LHBS store tomorrow, which is of course before I know my city water analysis. I have some Epsom salts and lactic acid on hand. I need some CaCl2 so is there anything else I may need to pick up to have on hand just in case the water report calls for some element I don't expect? Gypsum? Anything else I may need to have on hand?
