Any one every brewed with Galaxy. Just ordered a few pounds and i am thinking of a Vienna/Galaxy SMaSH. How does that sound?

havent brewed yet but ive read that galaxy has a great smell to it... deff should add 1oz with 5min left in boil, 1 oz with 1min left in the boil and dry hop 1-2 oz

Sounds good to me, I'm using Galaxy for the first time in a couple weeks in an IPA.

Just brewed a variation on Tasty's APA using 2oz of Galaxy split evenly between 20, 10, and 1 minute. Can't wait to get it bottled and carbed in a couple weeks.

So far it smells pretty good, but doesn't have the tropical aroma like Citra that I expected from the passionfruit description. Closer to your normal centennial/cascade aroma than the tropical.

I just did a galaxy wheat with 100% galaxy hops to about 40 IBU

.5oz FWH
.25oz 30min
1.5oz KO
1oz Dry hop

Smells awesome...a great substitute for amarillo or citra. Im about to brew up a Southern Hemisphere DIPA with galaxy, riwaka, and nelson sauvin. I really enjoy all of those hops

Cool,
I am looking forward to trying galaxy. With it being really hard to get Amarillo and Citra and alot of other hops now. Its seemed like a good time to order a few pounds.

That Galaxy wheat sounds good, our local brewery does something like that but with Amarillo
, its really good.

I just finished making a recipe for a Galaxy Pale Ale!! So excited to get it brewing.

FYI. you responded to a thread that 5 1/2 years old.

But you should def share your galaxy recipe. I designed a NE IPA with it and its insane!
