Had the family over for dinner tonight and both my wife and mother (who both hate beer) had a draft of Yooper's Dead Guy Clone from my new kegerator proclaiming "This beer is really good." My brother, who drinks BMC, did some damage to both my ESB and the DG with positive remarks about both!

Not to mention SWMBO saying "looks like you need to brew more."

For clarity's sake... I brewed the clone using Yooper's recipe (she didn't send me a keg of it).

There's something about getting positive reinforcement about the hobby/obsession that's reassuring.

I tend to be overly critical of my beers, but even ones where I thought there were issues my friends thought were great.
