Vancouver BC - What not to Miss?

Hello All.

I'm travelling to Vancouver BC next week on bussiness. I'll have most of Monday and evenings to entertain myself and will have a rental car so will have a pretty wide travel radius is neccessary. For those of you who live/have visited the area what beers/breweries/eateries are too good to be missed?

Any must see attractions? Beer or non Beer related?

Any cigar smokers have a favorite store in the city?

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I actually just arrived in Vancouver yesterday for a week long visit. I checked out Granville island brewery so far and have plans to go to gastown soon. There is a liquor store that carries a ton of cool beer on the north side of broadway west of oak street. There was an Aussie running it who was really informative and pointed out a few places to check out. Might be worth it for you to find this guy since you have a car
