decided not to use them, sorry for wasting you time...good jugs but not for consumptions
 
Probably *not* good for bottling, since they aren't really meant to hold pressure. You could probably use them as "growlers" if you're comfortable with their cleanliness, but if you're taking them from a lab, I guarantee that someone in the safety chain of command will blow a gasket when they find out.
 
yeah I agree, that was kinda my gut feeling, I'll probably just use one container for water for my blow off tube and keep a couple around for collecting pennies.
