US-05 at 77 degrees

Unfortunately, my last brew, NB's pumpkin ale had a very active fermentation (well, that's not the bad thing), but in that process my primary got to around 75-77 for less than 24 hours. Since then, it's cooled, but I'd say it was at that temp within 48 hours of pitching. Now it's at about 70 degrees - that's about as cool as I can get it with my current setup, unfortunately. Has anyone had US-05 ferment at that temp and what were the results? I really hope this beer turns out okay and it probably will be fine, but would just like some reassurance.
 
It has been my experience that fermentation temperatures that high in the period you describe will cause some esters from the yeast that may not be desirable. No sense worrying, (The mantra here).
