Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes...
I use an upright freezer as my kegerator, using a Johnson Controller to control the temp and usually have it set between 38F and 44F depending on the beer. Lately I have noticed some water on the bottom of the freezer (or occasionally slushy ice) and the back of the freezer is starting to ice up a little bit.
Is this just from moisture in the freezer at warmer temps and why those of you who use chest freezers use dehumidifiers? Or is my freezer's system starting to fight back from being at warmer temps all the time? Would putting a dehumidifier in help?
