I will say that I have had one of these, and one of those red chunky plastic ones, for many years. This is the best capper, far better than the red plastic one. As a bonus, it leaves a round indent in the middle of the cap which makes it easy to identify your beers when mixed in with others.

You are spot on. I really enjoyed this capper. Never felt I needed to spend the money on a bench capper, although I only bottled ~150 beers a month.
