I just kegged my beer for the first time and everything went great until I tried to get it out. It looks like the manufacturer of my 2.5 gal Corny keg attached two "In" posts so I can't connect my liquid line. I didn't realize until the beer was in the keg and carbonated. I'm interested to know if this has happened to anyone and what my options are.

I have a spare gas line disconnect. Is there any reason I shouldn't hook up the tap using it?

Sure, use your spare gas QD. They are the same, functionality wise.

Have you checked if the diptube is a liquid one, going all the way to the bottom?

Use the spare QD for now and then you can swap the post with the proper replacement later. Just check the threads and you're good to go!
