I'm going to brew a 5 gallon batch of Honey Weizen soon and am planning on splitting it into two 2.5 gallon batches and ferment each with a different yeast.

I have a smackpack of Wyeast Weinstephaner to pitch into one and a pack of dry Safbrew T-58 for the other. Had the T-58 laying around so I figured it would be cool to compare the differences. I did a search but couldn't find a general conclusion if it is ok to pitch the entire pack of each into their respective 2.5 gallon batches or if this would be overpitching?

Mr. Malty is saying I need 94 billion cells for each 2.5 gallon batch.

I didn't see the dry yeast tab on Mr. Malty, was just looking at the liquid one. Thanks for pointing that out. Looks like I'll only pitch about a half pack of the dry yeast then.
