Hi

After comparing the brown ale I've been making with Sierra Nevada's Tumbler I am looking for the smallest amount of increased hops. I have never used a secondary but my gut tells me that it will get me to where I want to be.

Ingredients: 7 lbs Pale Liquid Extract
1 lb DME (Briess Golden Light dried malt extract lovibond 4)
.50 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt-60L
.50 lb Chocolate Malt
.13 lb Roasted Barley
.50 oz Warrior (60 min.)
1.00 oz Goldings, B.C. (5 min.)
Safale s-04

I have a batch ready to go but I would like to try a dry hop in a secondary. SG 1.072...right now FG 1.018. This is 2 weeks today in primary.

Question here, dry hop options? With vegetation or pellets?

I have a local brew shop and they carry quite a selection.

That would pretty much be whatever you prefer? How does your batch compare with tumbler? That should tell you what you need. If you need more hop aroma.
