Transfer from 5 gal to 3 gallon

Hey all
I have a five gallon of octoberfest. I would like to transfer some of it to a 3 gallon corny. Is there any way that I can tell when the 3 gallon is full. I will flush the 3 gallon and push the beer with co2 between the 2 kegs. Any advice?

If its cold , you'll see condensation on the outside of the recieving keg. That's what I do.

Fill the 3 gallon with water and weigh it. This will give you a rough idea of how much is in the tank while doing the transfer. Or just drink 16 pints off the 5 gallons that leaves three .

Or transfer 2, take that and when it runs dry yell "You guys drank 3 gal already???? lushes!" Smile and go back home knowing you saved your beer....
