After about two months reading your posts I finally ventured into the work of home brewing. I love beer! I love science! I love food! ...throw em into blender and you get homebrew!!!

My first batch is an IPA......it is in the primary waiting. I could not wait to taste it so I went and got a holiday ale knowing my first batch would be gone all too soon......so I am going to the two batch system.

I want to thank everybody for their very informative posts, and exciting beer ventures.......you all are inspiring. I am passionate about beer. Now I have a place to learn from you passionate EXPERIENED brewers!!

Thank you again

This place is awesome...

Brewed my third batch this passed weekend. Haven't even bottled my first batch yet. Thinking I'm a bit obsessed...

You won't regret the decision. It is a hobby that will consume you and your money, but it is so worth it. Enjoy!!

Welcome to the hobby/addiction.........

You are right , this place is great. A very supportive group that has a great wealth of information. When I first started brewing I spent so much time here reading up and learning, that my wife called it my beer porn.

Enjoy brewing and learning.

I just started a few weeks ago and after my first batch I was ready for another... I think i've ordered about 300 worth of ingredients etc since that first batch!!! Looking forward to stockpiling for the oncoming zombie apocalypse!

I'm starting to wonder if all of these guys brewing for the zombie apocalypse might just be creating a self-fulfilling prophecy of some sort. People are bound to start turning into zombies from all of that beer!

I hope you got a couple more fermenters because it sounds like you are going to need them. I like to have at least 2 fermenters going when I get to brew so I'm not so antsy about bottling too early.:rockin:
