I am thinking of doing a real simple grain bill. I want to use 2 row and molasses. Was thinking of doing a 1 gallon batch to try. I just wonder what the molasses will make the beer taste like? Has any one tried this?
in other words, not a good idea. i use molasses in some scottish ales, but even then, in combo with other grains. i just cooked up a strong scotch ale last weekend, and for 11 gallons, i used ~9 ounces
