Thin grayish film

Pulled my porter out of the fermenter and it had a very thing greyish film sitting on the top of the beer. Nothing furry or fuzzy about it. I skimmed what i could off the top and went ahead and bottled. Just took a look at some of my bottles and that same film is forming in the bottle as well. Nothing off tasting so far but.... is this the mysterious harmless fungi that adds "flavor" to my beer?

Hard to say without knowing alot more, I guess you'll find out in about 4 weeks.

If it doesn't taste any different than expected, don't stare at the beer too much when drinking. No need to think too hard about that kind of stuff.
