I am having trouble with my 6 gal fermentation bucket lid. I have purchased two lids and used them on the bucket in the past 6 months or so but have had cracks develope in the plastic on both of them. The cracks are an extension of the spot along the edge that you can cut to get the lid off. Anybody had similar problems and been able to find a solution?

That is what I plan on trying next if nobody comes up with a better idea. Do you use one of those bucket opening pry bars or just man up?
