This is probably a silly question but I'm going to ask anyway. Why do so many people secondary there sour/funky beers on fruit?
Thanks

I'm asking because I'm trying to learn more about this type of brewing. I don't hear as much about regular beers being aged on fruit so I wondered why sour or funky beers.

Yeah the acidity of sour beers works really well with fruit.
It's the kind of balance of acidity and fruity flavours which you find in wine. As opposed to regular beer which is balanced with bitterness.

That's one reason at least.
