The first batch

I bought a kit and made a nut brown for the first batch. Kind of interesting, added 8 lbs of dark DME to the boil and then fermented. Bottled a week later, and drank the first one 2 weeks later on my birthday. Happy Birthday to me and I can't stop drinking them. I have shared them with others and they are impressed. Now trying to figure out what I want to do next. My wife likes some beers, but is not a hop head. A couple of suggestions would be nice on what to do next. I did it to try it and I now love it.

If your SWMBO isn't a huge beer person, you really can't go wrong with a hefeweizen.
