I brought home an Austin Homebrew Supply Bavarian Hefe kit.
Bag rips as I walk in door
liquid malt bucket falls out and breaks on floor, spilling 1/3 of its guts on the tile
I manage to save the rest.
Is there anything short of going back to the store/ordering more that I can do to salvage the brew?
What are the consequences if I do not?

Is it that serious though?

Depending on how clean the floor was, yes. At my house (dogs too) I would probably not so it since there would be all kinds of hair in it.

I would go back and get more DME if possible.

what I mean is, my dogs will clean the floor for me.

If I make a 2/3 batch, wont the yeast, i dunno, "overpower" the wort, or something?

Nah, I assume you are using WLP300 or Wyeast3068, you want a slightly overpowering yeast flavor in a hefe anyways.
