Taprite Dual Gauge Regulator / Adapter needed?

I just purchased a small kegging system (tank/lines/regulator/fittings) and have plenty of 20oz CO2 tanks lying around. I'm not sure if anyone else knows off the top of their head, but will I need to purchase an adapter to connect a 20oz to the regulator?

Better yet, I have plenty of adapter fittings available at work (aerosol company, so we have fittings and adapters for just about anything imaginable). If the adapters online are just simple adapters and don't consist of any special components, would I just be able to "borrow" a fitting? What dimensions would I need and would stainless or brass work? Anything I should avoid?

The regulator will thread on but it wont open the pin valve. That's all the adapters do. I have some 20 oz tanks with manual valves.
